Everything you need to feel cozy and homey far away from home' - we couldn't describe it better our selves, but would like to add a plug for the seaweed crisps and chili sauce (shown to the left) and beg one again for that chai recipe.

Traditionally, books have been rare in Laos. The number of children who go to school is slowly but steadily increasing, yet many children have never read a book outside of school textbooks. Few Lao people think that reading can be fun, can add to their education, or will provide information to improve their quality of life.' Big Brother Mouse is changing all that by creating hands-on opportunities for young people in Laos to learn to read, write, edit, translate and develop computer skills. We loved reading the books that they published, passing them on to our young friends in Luang Prabang, and bringing them home to our nieces an nephews so that they could learn about Laos. A gift on many levels!
