Hammam Ziani
We found this hammam the way one finds all special things in Marrakech, by accident. After wandering around the dusty, crowded souk it was a welcome detour, and it turned into a favorite memory. A step up from the local hammam, but not quite an up-scale spa, Hammam Ziani offers a spirited traditional treatment (steam, scrub, soap and massage) that finishes with a cup of sweet mint tea. Enjoy - if you can find it.

Azur Spa
In the heart of Essaouirs's medina, is our favorite sensual escape. Sipping fresh Moroccan mint tea, surrounded by stunning works of art and exotic aromas, definitely fits our idea of the perfect prelude to an invigorating steam and scrub in the hammam, followed by an argon oil massage. An experience worth every dirham!
