Do you, like so many people, experience low back pain?

Perhaps that’s not the only area of your body that causes you discomfort.

A lot of bodily tension is due to our modern lifestyles – you know, lots of sitting.

And it doesn’t have to be that way. We have the capacity, even the right, to live our lives without pain.

It’s just that most people don’t know what to do for themselves to treat or eliminate their pain.

I know as well as anyone that the natural tendency when you’re experiencing pain is to be still and immobilize the area. But this is actually counterproductive!

Movement is key! Moving your body get things moving inside your body…blood, bringing white healing blood cells to damaged tissue, and lymph, draining the area of the toxic waste products of cellular metabolism.

Moving painful or sore muscles is often the key to relieving the pain. Muscles want to be moved, stretched, extended, and relaxed. That’s how they maintain health and a comfortable homeostasis.

In the pursuit of our mission to empower you in your own health, here is a video of a targeted stretch to address a specific muscle that’s often implicated in low back pain.

We hope it brings you relief. If you have someone in your life who suffers from low back pain also, please share this video with him/her/them.

And if there is a different area of your body that causes you chronic discomfort, that you need some help addressing, let us know! We would love to help you address it with whatever tools we can.
