This nourishing dinner will be lovingly prepared by Chef Kelly Sheridan, whose passion for local, seasonal, organic fare began when she was completing a one-year biodynamic agriculture training. She studied Eastern nutrition as a part of her Masters in Acupuncture.

Your home for the weekend is in the heart of the Southern Colorado San Juan Mountains. Dave Goetz, LMT

Retreat Leader

Dave Goetz, CMT is the owner of The Wellness Lifestyle LLC, Co-Director of HeartMind Bodywork in Boulder, Colorado and currently teaches qigong and maintains a personal and professional development coaching and bodywork practice.  In 1990, Dave began studying shiatsu at Ohashiatsu® Chicago under the directorship of Matthew Swiegart, COI. He discovered a life-long passion for Eastern thought when he read the Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda at the age of 19.  Dave attended Indiana University where he studied Eastern Philosophy, Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism, and Environmental Studies, graduating in 1980 with a B.A. in Economics. He has been a daily practitioner of meditation using the techniques of Self-Knowledge as taught by Prem Rawat since 1979.

Jessica Van Antwerp

Integral Travel Owner/Retreat Leader

Recently profiled in Inc. Magazine as a leader in the health/wellness industry in Boulder, CO, Jessica has been studying and working with the human mind, body, and spirit for almost twenty years. Her studies of both Western and Eastern philosophies, religious traditions, and Chinese medical theory give her many lenses through which to help others bring into focus the big picture of their lives. The practical studies of massage, shiatsu, yoga, and qigong were the natural branches of her intellectual pursuits and she has been sharing all of this knowledge through teaching for almost ten years. Integral Travel gives her the opportunity to bring it all together in the context of travel. She believes that removing yourself from your day-to-day environment opens the mind and heart to new things and combining inner exploration with outer exploration anywhere in the world will actually bring you home…to yourself, to heal your heart, and to cultivate optimal health and happiness to create positive changes in the world around you.

Kelly Sheridan

Kelly’s passion for local, seasonal, organic fare began when she was completing a one-year biodynamic agriculture training. She studied Eastern nutrition as a part of her Masters in Acupuncture.

Kelly believes how we eat is largely responsible for our health or our dis-ease in life. Nutrition has a large emphasis in Kelly’s work as a functional medicine practitioner, educator, and personal chef for clients who have health challenges and who have specific dietary needs.

Through research and experimentation, Kelly has become a bit of a “restrictive diet magician;” she believes that no matter what food should be colorful, delicious, nutrition-packed, and satisfying. Kelly is the co-founder of the Meta Reset, an online nutrition program that is designed to help with weight loss and metabolism by removing inflammatory foods from the diet. Aside from weight loss, much of the inspiration behind the Meta Reset is to provide everyday people with the tools they need to make healthy food choices and prepare tasty, balanced meals at home.
