“I have been changed by the program….it demonstrated how much what I eat, movement, nature and all the modalities we did each day affect how I feel physically, emotionally.  One way in which I’ve grown is to be more aware of all my senses. I felt an energy shift to feeling more positive and energized, and now I have some tools to try to keep up this energy.”

“After being home for a bit and having a chance to reflect on my experience, I would do it all over again and definitely recommend it. I made memories that will last a lifetime and friends across the country. The trip introduced me to a passion I never knew I had. It gave me a different perspective on the world. I grew and learned so much and I am so grateful. I felt welcome and safe in Thailand with Integral Travel and I am so grateful to Jess.”

“My expectations of learning more about wellness topics were exceeded by this retreat. There were just SO many gems of knowledge, plus the staff members were exceptional. A precious sense of community was created by the sharing, interactive format, and the willingness of each of the participants to be open.”

“An overwhelming truth to this journey was that I had no clue what I was getting into. For me, as someone who had never really done regular yoga, meditation, or even had a decent diet, my world changed. I have become less angry when things don’t go my way. I don’t cling to expectations and outcomes. I let my friends be themselves. I rejoice in the incredible differences of those around me. I’m patient with myself. I seek balance and strive to live my life in a way that is right, wise, and clear. I always considered myself a compassionate person, but now I feel I’m capable of exercising and expressing it more.”

Live on Island Time

Oct. 20 – 26, 2022

The Hawaiian islands are a vortex of energy. Your thoughts and intentions manifest into reality faster than on the mainland. This provides the perfect backdrop for an amazing wellness retreat.

Your adventure will be anchored in daily yoga, meditation, and qigong practices, the building blocks of a healthy life. You’ll learn to feel energy with the palms of your hands and move it throughout your body. You’ll learn to take control of your stress, a skill that will serve you for the rest of your life.

Throw in the chance for dolphins to swim with us, whale-watching, surfing, hiking through the lush Hawaiian jungle, and relaxing in natural hot springs, and you’ll create memories to last the rest of your life too.

Our journey will culminate with a New Moon ceremony. Connected to the natural rhythms of Nature, this is a great time for letting go of what you no longer need and setting new intentions for the coming lunar cycle. This theme, with the energetic power of the Big Island, gives you an extra powerful healing retreat!

This seven-day all-inclusive wellness retreat is a Bucket List journey – at least for us.

LODGING

Your home for the weekend is Orchid Isle Manor, a unique 5-acre estate nestled at the base of Hualalai Mountain.

Surrounded by lush forest, the manor and cottages feel magical and cut off from the rest of the world. It boasts plenty of communal space for gathering, while also providing private living spaces, each with its own personality.

There’s a hot tub on the land, and Mother Nature offers her abundance with guava, surinam cherry & peach snacks along a path through the property.

It’s a literal retreat after your islandwide adventures!

Yoga Teacher/Retreat Leader

Kendall Beene is a beloved yoga teacher, lead teacher trainer, and the owner of New Yoga Now in Savannah, GA. She has been studying yoga for nearly 30 years and teaching for almost 20. A scientist at heart, Kendall’s years studying and teaching geology are a major influence in her practice and teaching, which focus strongly on curiosity, process, and digging deep to visualize what is happening beneath the surface! Kendall is one of the low country’s most sought-after private yoga teachers and considers working with individuals over the past 15 years to be the greatest honor and education she has received as a teacher. This work has gifted her with the ability to truly see and listen to her students. Kendall’s intuitive, soulful teaching style embodies a balance of compassion, strength and grace.

Kendall teaches Vinyasa and Yin yoga and is also certified to teach prenatal. She is grateful for her most influential teachers: Ulla Lundgren, Asha Wolf, Ranjani Cobo, David Swenson, Stephanie Keach, and Jason Crandell. Currently, she is deepening her education in Yoga Anatomy in the 300-hour program with Tiffany Cruickshank of Yoga Medicine.

Kendall is most inspired by being in nature, getting back to traveling the world, discovering the many places where the scientific and mystical worlds collide and watching her two teenage daughters grow into their most authentic selves.
