The changing of the seasons is a truly spectacular experience in the Rocky Mountains. As summer wanes and Autumn moves in, the leaves of the aspen trees turn a yellow so vibrant, they practically glow. 

Awed by this sensational beauty, surround this experience with delicious, seasonal, local, and organic food, massage, acupuncture, yoga, qigong, meditation and stimulating discussions around health and wellness, and you’ll have a weekend that will leave you glowing too.

DAILY SUMMARY

Day 1: Land at Denver International Airport, Fri, Sept. 13 no later than 1 pm and be whisked away to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Settle into your home for the weekend. Explore the grounds of our beautiful cabin while you enjoy a freshly made cocktail or mocktail. We’ll get to know one another this evening, both over dinner and afterward, as we prepare for a wonderful weekend together.

Day 2: Enjoy a gentle movement and mindfulness practice to invigorate your body in preparation for our easy or moderate hike. You will have your choice of a short or medium length walk in the breathtaking Rocky Mountain National Park. Upon our return to the cabin, get a massage or acupuncture, and a personalized nutrition consultation. After happy hour (non-alcoholic options available) and a delicious dinner, you’ll have time to relax, enjoy the sauna and the hot tub. 

Day 3: Enjoy a lazy Sunday morning after a good night’s rest. We’ll do our morning movement after breakfast. (Don’t worry, it won’t be too strenuous.) Then you’ll have another treatment in the late morning. Roll off the treatment table into lunch, then take some free time to yourself afterward. In the afternoon, you’ll learn some tricks for healthier eating in our cooking class that you can incorporate into your life back home. And we’ll all enjoy the delicious meal that we’ve created. After dinner, we’ll do some health crafts together before wandering off for our final night of slumber in the fresh mountain air.

Day 4: Enjoy your final morning yoga/qigong/meditation on this short but sweet wellness retreat weekend. After a nourishing breakfast, you’ll have time to pack and then we’ll head back to the airport and say our goodbyes. Schedule your return flight no earlier than 2:30 pm on Mon., Sept. 16th.

FOOD

We are blessed to have Chef Jessica Bella, of Sundrops Organics, creating culinary delights for us throughout the weekend. She will use as many seasonal, local, and organic ingredients as possible to tickle our tastebuds. Meat will be served one meal of every day, with your choice of poultry, seafood, or red meat. All dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

LODGING

Your home for the weekend is a Japanese Mountain style home that offers expansive views of the surrounding mountains and landscape. Enjoy spacious living areas with exposed beams and modern alpine decor, comfortable bedrooms, and high-end bathrooms.

Enjoy soaking in the backyard hot tub and sweating in the sauna in the evenings before cozying up by the stone hearth.
